What makes the private beach special?
Due to the unique location and layout of our property, our beach is only accessible to guests of SafiraBlu. This means that you get ultimate solitude to relax, and no beach vendors will be approaching you to sell items or tours.
Is Safira Blu walkable to restaurants and shops?
Due to our unique and private location, SafiraBlu is not walkable to restaurants and shops outside of the resort. Our concierge team will be happy to assist you in finding transportation options should you wish to venture out into the local villages and other areas of the island.
What activities are available?
SafiraBlu offers a few activities on site, as well as we work with a third-party trusted tour operator who will arrange and handle all of the tours and activities across the island and beyond – including safari on mainland Tanzania. Is SafiraBlu suitable for families / children?
Yes, SafiraBlu is family friendly and children of all ages are welcome. We can provide extra beds for small children, as well as baby cots upon request. Our restaurants have a dedicated kids menu, and our chef’s will be happy to prepare anything specific for the little ones.

SafiraBlu is located approximately 60 kilometers from Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar. Please get in touch with our team to book airport transfers through our third-party trusted transportation partner.
